Job Summary
A CT Technologist position is available in Nebraska. This role involves performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) exams across various procedures, including neuro, body, musculoskeletal, and interventional radiology, in a trauma Level I facility. The position requires proficiency with GE equipment and a commitment to patient care and safety.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of
Experience:
ARRT(CT)(R) certification, State of Nebraska Medical Radiographer License, active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Level I trauma center experience, and at least 1 year of related experience. - Schedule:
Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. - Responsibilities include performing all department procedures, ensuring quality scans, maintaining equipment, and supporting department operations.
- Equipment utilized includes GE scanners with varying slices; proficiency with EPIC Electronic Medical Records and McKesson PACS is necessary.
- Required Skills include basic computer navigation, effective communication, multitasking ability, and dealing with challenging interactions professionally.

Willing to wait for licensure submission. - Trauma
Experience:
Level I trauma center experience required. - Floating:
Will be "floating" to other locations within the department but under the same management. - Dress Code:
Red scrubs or red t-shirt with Nebraska Medicine emblem. - Orientation:
Six-week training with assigned preceptor, including department-specific education and mid-point review. - Submission:
Candidate must be willing to wait for license processing.
