Position Qualification
Position Summary The Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI) for Genetics and Rehabilitation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha is currently accepting applications for a Fellow position(s) in the integrated Center of Autism Spectrum Disorders (iCASD). The fellow position is designed to provide interdisciplinary training in research and the provision of clinical services for individuals with genetic and behavior disorders and their families.
Training occurs within the fertile clinical, research, and teaching environment of the University of Nebraska Medical Center. The individuals are encouraged to develop an area of clinical expertise, to begin a corresponding programmatic line of research, and to acquire the grant-writing skills necessary for securing extramural funding for the study and the assessment/treatment of autism spectrum disorders emphasized in the position but may also pursue the study and treatment of other genetic and behavior disorders.
Track options include:
1) autism diagnostic services,
2) autism treatment tracks,
