Banquet Manager

Overview

The Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel is a historic landmark known for hosting weddings, galas, and corporate events. We are seeking a Banquet Manager who can lead a passionate team and create memorable experiences for our guests.

• Oversee every detail of event execution, from room setups to final walk‑throughs.
• Maintain impeccable service standards and ensure all event logistics run smoothly.
• Hire, train, schedule, and mentor banquet staff.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional guest service.
• Coordinate closely with culinary, sales, and hotel operations teams to bring each client’s vision to life.
• Pay meticulous attention to detail, including placement of linens, china, silver, and glassware.

• Previous supervisory/management experience and skills.
• 2 years of banquet management experience preferred.
• Previous hotel food and beverage experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent business communication skills.
