The EVS Attendant I is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance standards across assigned areas. This role ensures all public and back‑of‑house spaces are clean, safe, and well‑maintained in accordance with established environmental services standards during assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain assigned areas including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common spaces
- Vacuum, dust, polish, mop, and sanitize all designated areas as required
- Clean restrooms on a scheduled and as‑needed basis, ensuring proper stocking of supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, landings, administrative offices, and conference rooms
- Clean spills, stains, and other hazards promptly to ensure guest and team member safety
- Restock and organize cleaning and restroom supplies as needed
- Ensure all assigned areas meet high cleanliness standards, including 5‑star expectations
- Properly handle and deliver lost and found items to designated areas
- Follow safety procedures and use approved cleaning chemicals appropriately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of custodial storage and equipment areas
- Support team operations by completing additional duties as assigned
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a resort or casino housekeeping/EVS environment preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and proper usage procedures
- Ability to obtain OSHA 10 Certification
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Preferred:
Valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and sanitation products
- Work in indoor environments including public areas, restrooms, and back‑of‑house spaces
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods
- Must be able to work in fast‑paced, high‑traffic environments
- Exposure to varying noise levels and guest activity
- Varying schedules based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays
