88 Tactical is seeking dependable, energetic, and service-oriented Event Support Staff to help deliver exceptional experiences for our members and guests. This role plays an essential part in the success of private events, member functions, and special events by preparing event spaces, assisting guests, and ensuring every event is executed smoothly.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in attention to detail, and is passionate about providing outstanding hospitality.

Key Responsibilities Event Setup & Reset
  • Prepare event spaces before and after events by setting tables, arranging furniture, placing décor, and organizing equipment.
  • Reset event rooms quickly and efficiently between events.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and presentation-ready event spaces at all times.
Guest Service
  • Greet guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Assist with guest check-in, directions, and general event questions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Event Support
  • Assist Event Coordinators and management with event execution.
  • Monitor event spaces throughout events to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Restock supplies and respond to guest or operational needs as they arise.
  • Assist with light food and beverage support when needed.
  • Perform other event-related duties as assigned.
Operational Excellence
  • Maintain venue cleanliness and organization before, during, and after events.
  • Follow company safety procedures and operational standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the Events, Front of House, and Back of House teams to ensure successful event execution.
Qualifications
  • Friendly, positive, and professional attitude.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move chairs, tables, and event equipment as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous hospitality, restaurant, customer service, or event experience is preferred but not required.
Schedule
  • Approximately 20 hours per week based on event schedules.
  • Flexible availability is required, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional early mornings based on business needs.
