Job Title

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

-Pre-event suite set-up including chafing dishes, plates and silverware, televisions, lighting and overall ambiance in the suite.

-Verify and set-up all event orders for Suites

-Identify suite host and properly introduce yourself

-Take game day food and beverage orders and deliver to suite

-Set-up and check on game day food and beverage orders and serve guests until the end of the event

-Replenish food, beverages, condiments and utensils for suite and catering as needed

-Maintain standard of orderliness and cleanliness of suite and catering areas throughout During Event

-Obtain signatures from the suite host on charges in a timely manner

-Clear all items from the suite and catering areas and clean all surfaces and chafing dishes

-Reset suite for next function, complete closing functions

-Check out with supervisor or manager

Qualifications

-Must have good customer service skills and the ability to develop and enhance guest loyalty

-Must follow all SAVOR… Omaha policies and procedures

-Must be present for all major events at the Arena

Education and/or Experience

-Minimum of one year experience in food service position required

-Previous supervisory experience preferred

-Must be at least 19 years of age and able to pass a credit check

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

-Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards

-Ability to complete required pre-employment sanitation and alcohol service training

-Knowledgeable in operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation and safety issues

-Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with staff, plan ahead and to prepare event plans simultaneously

-Highly motivated, ability to take initiative, effectively work with others and work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands

-Frequent walking for entire length of shift

-Constant standing, bending, reaching and repetitive motions

-Frequent lift, push or pull items and objects weighing up to 50 lbs

Working Conditions

-Moderate to extreme exposure to noise during events

-May be exposed to vibrations caused by extreme noise during events

-May be exposed to strobe lights/lasers during events

-May be exposed to chemicals when cleaning locations

Hours of Work

-Availability to work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
