Overview
The Human Resources Generalist position is responsible for full-service human resources management in support of the day-to-day operations with a focus on 401(k) plan administration, workers' compensation, personnel action forms processing (PAFs), and benefits. Under the oversight of the Human Resources Leaders for One World, this role ensures compliance and accuracy and contributes to employee experience. This position plays a vital role in supporting our dedicated healthcare professionals and aligns with our values of equity, compassion, and community service. This position performs complex duties that require independent judgment and coordination across one or more areas of a comprehensive human resources operation.
Pay Range: $62,000 - $67,000/Per Year
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.3+ years of progressive experience in human resources, or HR operations required, preferably in a healthcare or non-profit setting.Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, COBRA, OSHA, HIPAA, FLSA, ERISA, and workers' compensation, etc. required.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally required.A high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee and organizational information is required.Maintaining knowledge of HR and organizational practices, procedures, policies, and systems to be able to respond to inquiries and provide information to employees preferred.Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, as well as written and oral communication, are required to effectively interact with associates at all levels of the organization.Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Computer skills (include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Adobe PDF.Experience with HRIS systems, Paycom, ADP, Paycor, Dayforce, etc. (Paycom preferred).Adaptable to quick changes in work requirements; ability to move from one project to another as needed; exceptional organizational and time management skills.Understanding the unique challenges and culture of nonprofit and/or healthcare environments is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
