Empower Every Team to Thrive
Quantum Workplace helps leaders build thriving teams—teams that are aligned on what matters, empowered to contribute, growing through development, and valued for the work they do.
We help make that happen through a connected talent platform that gives leaders a clear view of what’s happening across their teams. With more than 20 years in the HR technology space, we’ve partnered with thousands of organizations to help leaders turn insight into action that strengthens employee connection, performance, and business outcomes.
At Quantum Workplace, our people are our greatest lever for impact. We bring grit and hustle to our work, take ownership, and focus on doing work that matters. We pair that with care and flexibility—supporting people as whole humans and making space for work that’s meaningful and sustainable.

The OpportunityAt Quantum Workplace, we believe the employee experience does not happen by accident. It is built through strong systems, thoughtful processes, and meaningful interactions that help people feel supported and confident at work.
We are looking for a People Operations Specialist to power the operational engine behind our Employee Success team while serving as a trusted, accessible resource for employees and managers across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who loves structure, thrives on precision, and also enjoys being the go‑to person others rely on for clarity and support.
You will own the technology, data, and workflows that support our people every day, and you will engage directly with employees and leaders to answer questions, solve problems, and guide them through key moments in their journey. If you enjoy improving processes, leveraging AI and automation to work smarter, and building trust through responsive, people‑first support, this role is for you.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Manage and optimize our HRIS, employee data, benefits administration, and payroll support processes with a high degree of accuracy and ownership.
- Lead and support HR projects that improve operational effectiveness and strengthen the employee experience.
- Drive usage of Quantum Workplace software internally and provide guidance to our Prod Dev teams.
- Interpret policies, data, and trends to provide thoughtful guidance and recommendations to employees and managers.
- Administer and track leaves of absence and maintain required employment documentation with discretion and care.
- Design, document, and continuously improve People team workflows to reduce manual work and increase efficiency.
- Evaluate and implement AI tools and automation to streamline reporting and enhance team productivity while preserving a high‑touch employee experience.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, handling sensitive matters with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.
- Identify patterns in employee questions or operational challenges and proactively recommend improvements.
- Integrate inclusive practices into daily operations to ensure fairness and consistency across all People processes.
- You bring about 2 to 3 years of experience in HR, People Operations, HRIS administration, or something closely related.
- A SHRM CP, PHR, or similar certification is a plus, but not a deal breaker.
- You’ve worked hands on in an HRIS (we use Paylocity) and have supported benefits administration, not just observed it.
- You enjoy improving processes and have used reporting tools or AI to make work more efficient and less manual. We regularly use Zapier, Slack, ChatGPT, and Copilot.
- You’re comfortable in Excel and don’t shy away from data, dashboards, or digging into details.
- You’re based in the Omaha area and able to work from our office 2 to 3 days per week. We’re…
