Human Resources Supervisor Job Description
The Supervisor of Human Resources is responsible for managing employee relations, benefit administration, and recruitment. This role requires interaction with various levels of management and personnel across different departments.
Responsibilities- Support all facets of personnel situations, including recruitment, onboarding, and retention.
- Maintain job postings and collaborate with hiring managers for interview scheduling and candidate screening.
- Ensure completion of background checks and pre-employment screenings.
- Work with staffing agencies and negotiate contracts.
- Provide initial training and support ongoing required personnel training.
- Process and administer personnel records while complying with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and update personnel files.
- Perform internal investigations as warranted.
- Assist staff managers with personnel situations including discipline process, actions, and terminations.
- Reconcile and approve invoices for insurance and agency payments.
- Update and maintain information databases including ADP and carrier sites.
- Maintain and approve job descriptions.
- Implement and monitor performance reviews.
- Oversee and train HR employees as needed.
- Adapt to changes in departmental workload and take on additional responsibilities as required.

Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a HR related field or applicable experience in HR with a High School diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years related administrative experience, preferred.
- 5+ years in a customer or employee service-related role, preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to handle changing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to organize information and present it to peers, customers, and members of Senior Management.
The role is based in Omaha, NE, and involves working in various facilities such as offices, laboratories, processing floors, and warehouses. The position is full-time, salaried, and exempt. It requires the ability to remain stationary or move throughout the facilities for extended periods, work independently, and occasionally work weekends.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
