Job Responsibilities- Uphold the company’s core values and consistently follow all company guidelines and policies.
- Ownership (and periodic review and update) of the following key HR processes:
- Talent Acquisition (50
-70% of your time will be spent on this job responsibility):- Oversee full-cycle talent acquisition activities across all departments and position levels.
- Collaborate with leadership to assess workforce needs, define candidate profiles, and develop effective and time-sensitive sourcing strategies.
- Lead employment branding and recruiting initiatives that strengthen the company’s market presence and attract high-caliber talent.
- Manage all aspects of the hiring process, including candidate communications, interview coordination, offer administration, and onboarding transitions.
- Build relationships with community organizations focused on job training for related skill sets required for key positions at Bluestone.
- Maintain relationships with prospective candidates so that there is a qualified and interested pipeline of talent at all times.
- Offboarding:
With manager, conduct employee termination meetings, exit interviews and oversee offboarding checklist. - Retention:
- Create and conduct annual Employee Satisfaction Survey, working with the leadership team and Culture Club to ensure employees are heard and address the key findings.
- Coordinate 90-day and 180-day “We Care” check-ins for new hires.
- Employee Relations:
Coach and guide managers and employees regarding employee relations questions and concerns. - Discipline:
Manage, coach, and deliver verbal, written, and final warning disciplinary steps with managers. - Performance Management:
Coordinate and train managers on the annual performance review process and personal improvement plans as needed. - Compensation:
- Complete annual industry specific (CEL) compensation survey. From the CEL findings along with local compensation data, create recommended salary and hiring ranges for hourly and salaried roles.
- Create, own, and update position specific job descriptions and bonus documents.
- Talent Acquisition (50
- Serve as liaison to the Professional Employer Organization. This includes providing required new hire and employee change notifications.
- Coordinate annual benefits administration activities, coordination with outside benefit vendors and make recommendations to company leadership on benefit updates/changes, conduct annual competitor benefits evaluation and all internal benefits communication.
- Review and update Bluestone policy handbook annually, or as needed.
- Upkeep of all electronic personnel records in compliance with local, state and federal law.
- Four-year degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field; experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of five years of progressive human resources experience, including passive recruitment experience, employee and manager coaching, and proactive performance management.
- SHRM-CP or PHR Certifications preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communications. Acts as the corporate face of the company to new hires and team members.
- Technologically savvy and capable of leveraging digital recruitment platforms including Paycor, Indeed, Zip Recruiter, Linked In Jobs, et al to source qualified candidates.
- Efficient and proficient use of Microsoft Office, industry specific property management software, database activity, and other general computer knowledge.
- The ability to take responsibility for one's own performance, by setting clear goals and expectations, tracking progress against the goals, ensuring feedback, and addressing performance problems and issues promptly.
- The ability to tackle a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach.
