Apply today, work tomorrow, and get paid weekly! Ascend Staffing (Council Bluffs Branch) is hiring a full-time, evaluation-to-hire Sanitation Specialist for a facility in Omaha, NE.

Pay: $17.10/hr

Line Loading: Lift and load plastic pallets and containers onto the high-speed conveyor intake line.

Quality Inspection: Check incoming assets for defects, damage, or debris before staging.

Crew Rotation: Work in a three-man crew, rotating physical positions every 30 minutes.

Safety Compliance: Attend mandatory day-one orientation and pass the required safety exam.

Documentation: High School Diploma/GED, valid Driver’s License, and US work authorization.

Screening: Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Physical & Environment: Lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for long periods in hot, cold, or wet settings.

Traits: Reliable attendance, strong communication, and a team-first attitude.

Footwear: Employee-provided steel-toed or composite boots required on day one.

Clothing: Short/long-sleeve shirts required (no sleeveless or hoodies). Shorts allowed in summer.

Jewelry: Strict no-jewelry policy on the production floor.

Provided PPE: High-visibility vests, gloves, and safety glasses are fully provided.

Schedule: Two 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch.
