Ortho Nebraska is adding a Human Resources (HR) Specialist to our Human Resources Department team!
The HR Specialist will serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day HR Operations. Excellent customer service is a must!

Hours:
1.0 / 40 - Schedule:
Mon - Fri: 8:00 - 5:00pm
- Serves as first point of contact for day-to-day HR Operations including policy interpretation, process, and procedure inquiries, leave of absence requests and benefit inquiries
- Manage HR workflows in HRIS including new hires, terminations, and team member changes
- Assist with benefits administration including life events, leave of absence administration
- Assist in the preparation of orientation materials, binders, name tags, badges, swag boxes, food orders, computers etc.
- Manage company store and uniform orders and exchanges
- Maintain electronic team members files including compliance with licensure and certification
- Coordinate employment verification and unemployment process
- Assist with audit and compliance reporting
- Must demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Must be able to build rapport with physicians, staff, leadership, employees and external resources
- Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, trust, integrity, & be able to maintain confidentiality
- Computer Skills in Microsoft Office
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to instruct and collaborate with others required.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience, preferred
- Experience with Workday preferred
- This position is classified as Sedentary Work in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, requiring the exertion of up to 1-pounds of force occasionally (up to 33% of the time) and /or a negligible amount of force frequently (33%-66% of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
Must be able to pass background check. We also conduct pre-employment physical and drug testing. Any job offer will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical with a drug screen, background check and obtaining active licensures per job requirements.
