We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who goes above and beyond, brings sound judgment to talent assessment, is persistent in the pursuit of exceptional talent, and is committed to finding the right fit for every role.

As part of AOI’s People, Growth & Development team, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of our organization by identifying, attracting, and onboarding exceptional talent who align with our mission, values, and commitment to excellence. From partnering with hiring managers to building meaningful candidate relationships and developing talent pipelines, you’ll help ensure AOI continues to grow with the right people.

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles across AOI.
• Develop and execute traditional and creative talent acquisition strategies.
• Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand team needs and culture.
• Manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
• Act as a brand ambassador for AOI, representing our values internally and externally.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruiting reports and data.
• Proactively source and engage qualified candidates through a variety of recruiting platforms, professional networks, and creative talent acquisition strategies.
• Support the onboarding experience to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
• Build and sustain relationships with local schools, colleges, and universities to nurture talent pipelines and internship programs.

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Talent acquisition experience within the construction industry preferred.

• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Familiarity with BambooHR or similar HRIS systems.
• Experience sourcing candidates using tools such as Linked In Recruiter, Indeed, and Boolean search techniques.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven experience enhancing the candidate journey and strengthening employer brand initiatives.
• Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices.
• Proven ability to assess talent not just for skills, but for values and culture.

  You manage multiple requisitions, stay organized, and create a positive candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.
