Technical PM

Overview

Akkodis is seeking a Technical PM for a Contract with a client in Omaha, NE
. The ideal candidate requires deep expertise in Azure Landing Zones, Bicep‑based IaC, and Azure Dev Ops to successfully drive subscription governance and automated cloud deployments.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Lead the end‑to‑end Azure migration strategy, including planning, execution, and coordination of subscription and workload moves across tenants.
• Design and implement Azure Landing Zones, Subscription Vending, and automated deployments using Bicep and Azure Verified Modules (AVM).
• Build, manage, and optimize Azure Dev Ops pipelines supporting Infrastructure as Code (IaC) delivery and compliance.
• Oversee Azure subscription governance, ensuring effective RBAC, policy enforcement, management group structure, and naming standards.
• Collaborate with application, security, and networking teams to manage migration waves, dependencies, and risk mitigation.
• Identify automation opportunities using Bicep and Power Shell and drive optimization of Azure costs, operational processes, and resource efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8–10 years of overall experience, including 5+ years in technical program/project management and 3+ years specifically in Azure cloud migration.
• Deep expertise in Azure infrastructure—including ARM, Azure Landing Zones, Subscription Vending—and advanced proficiency in Bicep and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Dev Ops, Azure Verified Modules (AVM), and Azure Migrate for assessment and migration of workloads.
