Lead Scrum Master

Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Lead Scrum Master
. This position’s primary responsibility will be to work with key stakeholders and coordinate day‑to‑day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will work with business and help them prioritize the roadmap along with the product owner to increase agility. The role holder should help teams practice values and principles of Agile and become more Agile. He/She will need to effectively facilitate all Scrum ceremonies like Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑Up, Sprint Review/Demo, and Retrospective meetings.

The Scrum Master will perform retrospectives in different ways to identify areas of improvement, resolve team conflicts, and must have good communication skills. He/She must also be actively involved in technical matters, finding gaps and ensuring product owner involvement in business decisions and descriptions of functional flow.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty can be considered in lieu of each year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Omaha, NE or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
• Experience as Scrum Master.
• CSM or equivalent certification.

• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience as scrum master, sprint planning, daily stand up, demos, and retrospective.
• Experience with agile principles in any role.
• Experience working with 2 Scrum Teams at the same time.
• Experience mentoring other members on agile principles and scrum practices.
• Proficiency in story writing and multiple prioritization techniques.
• Experience working with stakeholders on release planning, product roadmap, and prioritization.
• Proficient in JIRA agile story management tool.
• Experience in banking domain.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
