Responsibilities- Contribute to Mail Intelligence Mission:
Support the development of AI/ML capabilities that enhance user personalization and insights within Yahoo Mail and the broader Yahoo ecosystem. - Innovate and Personalize:
Build scalable AI/ML solutions that identify user interests and habits, contributing to personalized user experiences. - Team Leadership:
Manage a team of 15 engineers, including ML, Data, and Backend Engineers. - Development and Deployment:
Oversee the development and deployment of intelligent capabilities at scale, leveraging NLP, GenAI, and ML techniques. - Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including tech leads and architects, to integrate new AI/ML features and improve existing platforms, ensuring smooth user interactions. - Commitment to Excellence:
Maintain high standards in engineering, code quality, and architecture. - Culture of Innovation:

- Educational Background:
You have a strong foundation in computer science, data science, or a related field, with a focus on machine learning and AI technologies. - Leadership:

You have deep expertise in at least two of the following areas - building highly scalable applications, data engineering systems, or machine learning systems - and are passionate about solving complex technical challenges. - Collaboration:

- Technical Expertise:
Proven leadership of data and ML engineers with strong skills in Python, Java, or C++; proficient in discriminative and generative AI, and big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark. - Collaboration:
Effective in working with geographically distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholders. - Strategic Vision:
Ability to align team goals with organizational strategy for long-term success. - Stakeholder Management:
