Position Summary: Provides basic level of workstation support to an assigned customer base which includes installing and troubleshooting workstation and peripheral hardware and software; customer training; workstation security administration; and documentation. This is a customer-oriented position and provides direct support for all desktop and endpoint related issues submitted by the enterprise.
Responsibilities- Install, configure, and troubleshoot workstation hardware and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve software issues on Windows operating systems.
- Provide user training on operating systems and standard applications.
- Administer workstation security settings and perform routine documentation.
- Respond to support requests submitted by the enterprise for desktop and endpoint issues.
- Bachelor's degree in IT Management/Administration or related IT field; alternatively, four years of education/experience related to workstation configuration, installation, and support.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Experience in an academic or healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, endpoint management platforms (SCCM, Intune, Workspace One).
- Familiarity with workstation imaging, MDM solutions, and Office 365/cloud suite support.
