Terraform Engineer

Our client, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a Terraform Engineer to join their team. As a Terraform Engineer, you will be part of the Infrastructure Operations team supporting various development and architecture initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent teamwork abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Terraform Engineer

Location: Omaha, NE/Greenwood, CO

Pay Range: $50 - $55 per hour(Only W2)

What's the Job?

• Work closely with development and architecture teams to revamp the Landing Zone infrastructure for applications on the Azure platform.
• Deploy and provision Azure-based platforms/infrastructure according to design and architectural guidelines.
• Set up comprehensive monitoring and alerting mechanisms for application infrastructure.
• Implement robust security controls and best practices for the application.
• Develop a reliable backup and disaster recovery strategy for all systems.

What's Needed?

• 1-3 years of proven experience as an Infrastructure Operations Engineer or similar role, focusing on Azure-based infrastructure setup and management.
• Familiarity with Azure services, including virtual machines, virtual networks, and Azure App Services.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Knowledge of Azure monitoring and alerting services like Azure Monitor and Azure Application Insights.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using tools like Azure Dev Ops.
