Summary:
The Data Analyst I at Greentech Renewables supports business operations by collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to improve decision-making and operational efficiency. This role partners closely with senior analysts, operations, sales, and leadership teams, with a focus on renewable energy, solar, and electrical distribution data.
Reports to:
Director of Data & Analytics
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data validation)
+ Experience developing reports or dashboards in Power BI
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
+ Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
+
Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
+ Knowledge of data pipelines, star schema, and medallion architecture.
+ Familiarity with operational, inventory, or project-based data.
+ Experience working in an operations-driven or distribution environment.

Essential Job Functions:
+ Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI.
+ Write, maintain, and optimize SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data from internal systems.
+ Analyze operational, sales, inventory, and project data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
+ Support recurring and ad-hoc reporting requests from business stakeholders.
+ Ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple data sources.
+ Document data definitions, report logic, and standard reporting processes.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into metrics.

Compensation Range:
The compensation range for this position is $70000 to $80000 annually.
