About the RoleSecure Sky is a specialized cybersecurity firm helping organizations fix what’s broken in security operations—failed deployments, ineffective controls, overlapping tools, rising costs, and security programs that haven’t kept pace.
We deliver MDR, MXDR, and CTEM services built on Microsoft’s unified security operations platform, leveraging Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR, and our proprietary CSPM/SSPM solution.
Our buyers are security operations leaders and CISOs dealing with real consequences. They’re also skeptical. The cybersecurity market is noisy, over‑promised, and full of vendors who don’t deliver.
Your job is to cut through that noise and earn credibility with senior security leaders. You will build outbound pipeline from scratch - identifying the right accounts, connecting with the right people, and qualifying what you uncover.
This is an outbound-first role. You are not processing inbound form fills. You are creating pipeline that would not exist without you. Your compensation grows directly with the revenue your pipeline produces. This role is designed for an SDR who wants to progress into a closing role as they demonstrate consistent pipeline quality and deal contribution.
What You’ll Do- Prospect target accounts using phone, email, and social outreach
- Research accounts and contacts so outreach is relevant
- Act as a trusted extension of the sales team by representing Secure Sky professionally in first‑touch conversations with senior security leaders
- Build pipeline through execution, credibility, and discipline
- Maintain nurturing campaigns, and consistently re-engage stalled prospects
- Provide direct field feedback to help shape offers, campaigns, and target accounts
- Consistent generation of multiple qualified meetings per month, with accurate context provided to the sales lead
- A high percentage of your meetings progressing in the pipeline from discovery to proposal stage
- Closed-won contribution based on ACV of deals that originated from your outbound activity
- Current, accurate, and useful CRM records
- Rapid progression from SDR to AE
- 3 to 5 years of B2B outbound sales, ideally in technology, managed services, SaaS, or a technical services environment
- Comfortable with hands-on outreach, starting cold conversations with senior technical buyers
- Organized and self-directed, you can manage a pipeline of accounts at different stages
- Motivated by outcomes, not activity.
- Experience in cybersecurity, the Microsoft ecosystem, or managed IT services is strongly preferred
