As an Oracle Database Analyst, you will provide 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments, supporting the mission of USSTRATCOM.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle database systems to ensure high performance, security, and availability.
- Design and implement database schemas, monitor database health, and perform routine backups and recovery operations to safeguard mission‑critical data.
- Troubleshoot database‑related issues, manage user access and permissions, and optimize queries to enhance system performance.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards while staying current on updates, patches, and advancements in Oracle technologies.
- 8+ years of related experience in database administration, Oracle, and SQL database queries.
- US citizenship required.
- Current Top Secret clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI.
- Security clearance level required:
Top Secret with SCI; may be required to undergo a Counterintelligence (CI)‑scope polygraph. - Technical training (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications:
ITIL 4 Foundation within 9 months of start;
Cloud+, Security+, SSCP, or GSEC within 6 months of start. - Location:
Offutt AFB, NE. - Oracle database administration (installation, configuration, tuning).
- Experience with Data Guard, RAC, Multitenant, ASM, OEM.
- SQL and PL/SQL proficiency.
- Performance monitoring and optimization.
- Backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery planning.
- Schema design and data modeling.
- Troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
- Security management, access control, and compliance.
- Patch management and staying current with Oracle updates.
- Understanding of high‑availability architectures.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Desired experience: OUD, Ansible.

The likely salary range for this position is $129,813 – $155,250; compensation is based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
Scheduled weekly hours: 40; travel required: less than 10%; telecommuting: onsite; work location: USA NE Offutt AFB.
