Network Administrator - Secret Clearance Job Omaha area,Nebraska USA,IT/Tech

Dunhill Government Solutions is hiring a Network Administrator for a federal defense network

modernization program in Omaha, Nebraska. This is a full-time, fully on-site role building,

supporting and optimizing the network and the hardware and software behind it.

Responsibilities

Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, internet and intranet systems.
Install, configure, manage and maintain network infrastructure devices and all related hardware and software.
Identify network needs and capabilities from an end-user perspective.
Monitor the network to maintain integrity and operability.
Deploy and troubleshoot small- to medium-scale network deployments, escalating large-scale issues appropriately.
Conduct tests to confirm the proper working condition of developed and purchased network systems.
Monitor network performance and perform intermediary restoration and recovery actions.
Support operations, configuration and maintenance of voice, video and data transport and the associated hardware.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.
Experience with industry router and switch configurations.
Working technical knowledge of network infrastructure, including local and wide area networks, wireless networking, routers, switches, load balancers, WAN optimizers and cabling standards.
Solid troubleshooting ability to isolate faulty components or configurations so service is restored quickly.
Experience troubleshooting LAN and WAN connectivity.
CompTIA Network+ and/or CCNA certification
CompTIA Security+ certification.
Intermediate diagnostic, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field, or
2-5 years of network administration experience preferred.
On-site in Omaha, NE. Telework is not available for this position.

Compensation

$68,200 to $142,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
