This position is part of our actuarial job family. We welcome candidates at a variety of experience levels, from developing actuarial professionals to more experienced contributors. Placement within the actuarial job family will be determined based on factors including actuarial exam progress, technical expertise, relevant experience, demonstrated competencies and overall qualifications.

While this position is in office at our Omaha Headquarters, we are willing to provide relocation assistance for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do

As a member of our Pet Product Management actuarial team, you'll play an important role in supporting product strategy through data‑driven insights, actuarial modeling and cross‑functional collaboration. Depending on your experience and actuarial credentials, you'll assume responsibilities that align with your level while continuing to grow your actuarial expertise.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and produce accurate, high-quality work.
  • Proficiency with Excel and a willingness to learn actuarial modeling tools.

Experience May Include

  • Progress toward ASA, FSA, or ACAS designation, with exam requirements varying based on position level.
  • Experience in actuarial pricing, reserving, product management, predictive modeling or related analytical work.
  • Experience with actuarial software such as ALFA, CASE, SQL, R, Python, SAS or similar tools.
  • Insurance experience, particularly Property & Casualty or Pet Insurance, is preferred but not required.

We are hiring across multiple levels within our actuarial job family. Final title, responsibilities and compensation will be determined based on each candidate's actuarial exam progress, insurance experience, technical capabilities, demonstrated competencies and overall qualifications. We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every qualification listed — we're looking for talented professionals who are excited to grow with our team.
