The Position / Key

Qualified candidates will have at least three years of legal assistant experience working in litigation providing support to attorneys.

Essential Functions
  • Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • File documents electronically (e‑filing) in state and federal courts.
  • Maintain and organize litigation files (physical and electronic).
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings.
  • Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and discovery materials.
  • Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
  • Handle client communications professionally and courteously.
  • Process billing, time entry, and expense reports as needed.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary, preferably in litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of court procedures and e‑filing systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
