Job Summary
Oversees inventory and supply planning responsibilities for assigned plants and/or co‑packers. Maintains capacity plans, production schedules, and finite schedules to ensure efficient delivery of inventory, service, and cost objectives. May also include inventory stock transfer/replenishment duties. Works with the Data Management Organization on high‑priority projects.
Responsibilities- Provide supply‑planning expertise to the commercialization of new products or the resolution of key inventory shortage issues.
- Collaborate with customers and suppliers to prioritize and deliver products and services that meet business needs.
- Develop a detailed understanding of manufacturing constraints and capabilities at planned locations.
- Communicate with production facilities, the Omaha Supply Chain team, Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning, and Customer Service.
- Use CAG systems to proactively identify and communicate key drivers and solutions for service and inventory issues.
- Translate S&OP forecasts to SKU‑DC level supply plans.
- Lead master‑data collection and maintenance to support supply‑planning inventory/production objectives.
- Create reporting and metrics for various audiences.
- Identify and research master‑data issues that interfere with business performance.
- Analyze DRP planning and management; assess current inventory levels and forecasts to minimize costs while achieving service level and working‑capital targets.
- Track plant/business performance (KPIs) against established supply‑chain plans.
- Identify ways to improve supply‑planning processes and tools for assigned areas.
- Support the annual planning process for designated brands/plants.
- Lead change and present findings to drive alignment and informed decision‑making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or operations.
- Experience with S&OP processes and procedures.
- Exposure to Master Data Elements and Con Agra DMO processes preferred.
- Experience with supply‑planning software; knowledge of SAP APO is an advantage.
- APICS certification is an advantage.
- Experience with SAP, BW/BI preferred.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and technical skills.
Pay range: $63,000–$93,000. Salary will be based on an employee’s location, experience, level, and skill set while balancing internal equity.
