Summary:
Rensenhouse is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Contractor Asset Management Specialist to support and grow our On-Site Asset Management Services (AMS) program for our electrical contractors. This role is responsible for managing inventory at contractor job sites through replenishment processes, organizational procedures, inventory control & knowledge, and proactive customer support.
The Asset Management Specialist acts as a trusted partner to our customers by ensuring that job site cribs, cages, containers, trailers, and storerooms remain properly stocked with the materials needed to keep projects moving efficiently. This individual will work directly with project managers, field personnel, procurement teams, and Rensenhouse sales teams to anticipate inventory needs, solve supply challenges, and continuously improve inventory management processes.
The position supports Rensenhouse's AMS offering, including inventory management, project inventory replenishment, reporting, organization, and tool management services.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or greater
Valid Driver license with a clean driving record
Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles.
Basic computer and mobile device proficiency.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in warehouse, yard, and outdoor environments throughout the year.
Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and company delivery vehicles.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in electrical distribution, industrial distribution, or field experience
Forklift certification.
DOT medical card experience.
Experience using warehouse management systems, scanners, or inventory software.
CDL would be fantastic or the desire to obtain one.
Working Conditions:
This position is primarily field-based and includes regular travel to commercial construction sites, contractor facilities, warehouses, job trailers, and inventory storage locations. Daily responsibilities vary based on customer needs, project schedules, inventory requirements, and service opportunities.

Essential Job Functions:
Inventory Management & Replenishment
Perform routine visits to customer job sites, warehouses, trailers, cribs, cages, and storage areas.
Replenish inventory based on usage, min/max levels, job demands, and upcoming project requirements.
Receive, stock, organize, label, and maintain inventory in designated customer locations.
Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify shortages before they impact project productivity.
Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Build strong working relationships with contractor project managers, superintendents, foremen, purchasing teams, and field personnel.
Serve as the primary point of contact for on-site inventory and replenishment needs.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve inventory flow, material availability, and overall service levels.
Respond quickly to customer requests, urgent material requirements, and job site challenges.
Support implementation and expansion of Asset Management Services for new and existing contractor accounts.
Identify opportunities to increase AMS participation, inventory locations, and managed product categories.
Assist with startup and setup of new job site inventory locations including cage, crib, trailer, and container organization.
Recommend inventory adjustments based on project schedules, consumption trends, and customer needs.
Help customers adopt inventory management technologies and reporting tools utilized within the AMS program.

Compensation Range:
The compensation range for this position is $22 to $24 hourly.
