Role Overview
Responsible for providing efficient service to Patient Care Units and Ancillary Departments by managing inventory, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper labeling and charging of items. Tasks include utilizing MMIS and handheld terminals to replenish inventory, delivering supplies to units, and returning used equipment for sterilization. The role involves picking up and delivering medical equipment and isolettes, managing traction carts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Additionally, the position requires notifying supervisors of inventory discrepancies and assisting with equipment rentals in the absence of the Distribution Coordinator.

- High School Diploma or G.E.D (preferred)
- Intermediate computer skills required
- Knowledge of medical terminology or supplies (preferred)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and service recovery abilities
- Ability to collaborate with professional staff
- Restocking inventory and par locations daily
- Properly labeling chargeable items
- Delivering supplies and ensuring correct departmental charges
- Managing inventory discrepancies and adjusting par levels
- Delivering and pickup of medical equipment and isolettes
- Maintaining equipment inventory and issuing disposable supplies
- Assisting with equipment rentals and decontamination processes
