ERSG is currently looking for a motivated Junior Maintenance Technician to join the dedicated facilities team for an off-the-road tire and wheel technologies company in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role you will assist in maintaining the functionality and safety of the facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and supporting senior technicians in their duties.

Position Overview:

• Employment Type: Contract (at least 2 years with the opportunity of contract extensions or to become a direct employee).
• Benefits: We offer health, dental, vision insurance and help contribute 75% of that monthly cost and offer 401K with a 4% match after 12 months of employment.

  Omaha, Nebraska (unfortunately no relocation package is available).

Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing preventive maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Support troubleshooting efforts for equipment malfunctions and assist in repairs under the guidance of senior technicians
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation for all work performed
• Help manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and minimal disruption to operations

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic understanding of maintenance practices and procedures
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred:

• Previous experience in maintenance or facilities role, even as an intern or volunteer
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in maintenance tasks
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies:

• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Basic computer skills for logging maintenance activities
• Understanding of safety protocols and procedures
