Maintenance Technician - The Cosgrove, Omaha, NE

Join Burlington Capital Properties as a Maintenance Technician at the newly built The Cosgrove Apartments located in the Blackstone/Midtown area of Omaha, NE. This property features cozy studios and one- or two-bedroom floor plans with designer finishes such as faux wood flooring and granite countertops.

Our maintenance team protects and enhances the property’s appearance and ensures resident satisfaction. This role requires independent work and close collaboration with a supervisor.

• Perform interior and exterior repairs on apartments, common areas, buildings, and grounds.
• Maintain and complete service requests, including unit preparation for occupancy.
• Inspect work performed by outside contractors and ensure compliance with the established procedures.
• Ensure all work complies with Federal, State, and County Health and Safety Codes and Standards.
• Maintain curb appeal through exterior maintenance.
• Participate in resident functions as requested by Management.
• Work on an "on call" basis for emergency maintenance on weekends and evenings.

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general building trades.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Ability to follow directives and work with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Positive interaction with residents, employees, vendors, and the public.

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with weekend/evening on‑call requirements.
