PIT Sit-Down Forklift

This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, requiring strong knowledge of warehouse operations. As a forklift operator, you will be involved in the movement of products, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring the safety of both yourself and your team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The primary focus will be assisting in the transportation of goods from storage to prepare them for delivery.

• Participate in daily shift meetings to stay aligned with operational priorities.
• Utilize an RF scanner to accurately move products to the correct locations.
• Transport materials to and from various storage areas as requested.
• Retrieve shipping orders, locate the necessary products, and transport them accordingly.
• Understand machine loading capacity and follow schedules to ensure efficient delivery.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with forklift leads to achieve daily targets.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within your work area.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations.
• Provide coverage in other areas as needed, particularly during absences.
• Foster open communication with supervisors to address relevant matters.
• Adhere to company policies, practices, and safety regulations at all times.
• Support compliance with safety laws, regulations, and standards.
• Take on any other duties as assigned by management.

• Reliability: Demonstrate dependability by maintaining consistent equipment performance and prioritizing customer satisfaction. Arrive and depart on time, following break schedules.

  Previous experience or a solid understanding of warehouse processes is preferred.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
