Join Johnson Restoration Services as a Mitigation Tech to respond to water, fire, and storm damage emergencies. You will play a key role in minimizing property damage and restoring homes and businesses. We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual ready to work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Reports To: Project Manager
- Pay Range: $18-$25/hr, based on experience
- Emergency Response: Quickly assess and mitigate water, fire, or mold damage at job sites.
- Equipment Use: Operate water extraction tools, dehumidifiers, and air movers to dry out properties.
- Damage Assessment: Document damage with photos and notes for insurance claims.
- Debris Removal: Clear damaged materials safely and efficiently.
- Customer Service: Communicate with our project managers and clients to explain processes and provide updates.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols to protect yourself and the team.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years in restoration or construction preferred, but willing to train motivated candidates.
- Skills: Ability to use hand tools and mitigation equipment (training provided).
- Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in confined spaces and at heights.
- License: Valid driver's license required with a clean driving record.
Must lift up to 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, climb and descend ladders, and work in potentially wet or dusty conditions.
