Master Service Technician - Property Management
Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) is looking for a Master Service Technician to perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair machinery and mechanical equipment. The role is integral to ensuring equipment is 100% operational and safe.
Pay Range: $28.81 - $35.73 hourly

- Analyze and inspect condition of all conveyors, correcting any potential problems.
- Inspect and maintain all compactors, recycling equipment, and resolve potential downtime causes.
- Perform and log preventive maintenance and servicing on all material handling equipment.
- Provide backup support for the manager, handling complex service problems and distributing workload.
- Utilize the computer‑based asset management system to accurately record all work performed.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5 years of experience repairing material handling equipment.
- Leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
- Experience with “Crown” manufactured equipment preferred.
- Must attend relevant manufacturer training modules for current equipment.
- Good working knowledge of electrical circuits, wire diagrams, and schematics.
- Must be able to weld (wire or stick) and use a torch (oxygen or acetylene) to cut and braze. Knowledge of shop equipment such as lathe, mill, drill, tire press, hand tools, and power tools.
- Ability to work night, weekend, and/or early morning hours as needed.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Basic computer skills.
- Pre‑employment screening including, but not limited to, criminal background check.
