The Rental Setup Specialist oversees the coordination of rental sales and support services for the branch’s equipment fleet. This role manages customer rental needs, including reservations, deliveries, and event setups. The specialist ensures that Power, HVAC, and Air Compression equipment remains rental‑ready by leading efforts to maintain equipment condition and support successful execution of rental jobs.

• Delivers and stages rental equipment for all jobs, ensuring proper setup with required components such as cable, distribution panels, ducting, hoses, pumps, and more, in alignment with rental contracts. Manages job setup, execution, and dismantling, including coordinating transportation to and from job sites.
• Inspects equipment to confirm it is well‑maintained, tested, and rental‑ready. Schedules necessary maintenance and repairs to maximize uptime. Collaborates with Raka Rentals Service Managers to ensure cost‑effective rental maintenance.
• Completes daily event setups, manages technical requirements, and responds to last‑minute rental changes. Verifies equipment functionality before finalizing setup. Ensures COD accounts are collected and maintained throughout the rental period.
• Assists customers with rental inquiries by gathering essential information and recommending appropriate products and services. Maintains broad knowledge of rental equipment to provide effective solutions.
• Directs the Yard Coordinator on daily job activities, including equipment deliveries and pickups.
• Oversees inventory control for machines and bulk items. Regularly reconciles digital and physical inventory, resolving discrepancies to maintain fleet accuracy.
• Sources re‑rent equipment from other dealers to meet customer needs. Coordinates delivery and lease arrangements.
• Plans, organizes, schedules, and dispatches rental and sales equipment for delivery and pickup.
• Manages reservations and equipment demonstrations for sales representatives.
• Participates in required staff development meetings, programs, and training sessions.
• Conducts monthly reviews of financials and rental status.
• Reviews work orders and evaluates the condition of rental units.
• Supports additional branch locations either on‑site or remotely with assigned tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
