Report to:
President
- Lead, manage, and hold accountability of direct reports, including day–task management, training for each role, cross‑training, approval of time requests, performance reviews, and implementation of process and procedure changes.
- Assist in the hiring process for your department, keeping recruiting and searching for top talent a priority.
- Meet weekly with the President to discuss workflow, task planning for the week, month, quarter, and year and delegate work to the team accordingly.
- Take part in annual company goal planning, with quarterly directives for the director and their team to accomplish.
- Be present and active in all company events.
- Direct or lead university or other training classes as assigned, as well as department meetings.
- Create and track the annual budget to ensure the department revenue is performing at or above expectations each year.
- Prioritize customer retention for the department.
- Take the lead on all customer issues and complaints related to the department, following up until resolved.
- Work directly with the company marketing team to ensure all marketing efforts are followed and tracked by your team, including new concepts as well as current initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to ensure all company processes and procedures are followed, tracked by you and your team, via monthly reporting.
- Assist the PM Operations Manager with implementing any new software tools specific to property management.
- Lead the team on all emergency and storm‑related concerns as they arise, overseeing communication to the team, tenants, and owners.
- Engage in industry activities to keep the company informed about industry changes and to represent the organization at decision‑making tables.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a customer‑service spirit.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, sensitivity, and professionalism.
- Above‑average written and oral communication, organizational, and multi‑tasking skills.
- Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team.

- Self‑disciplined and motivated to achieve.
- Continuous learning is a priority for you and will be expected from your team.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365.
- Real estate license preferred but not required; candidates will be required to obtain one in the first year of employment in all states where the company does business.
- Previous experience at a manager level or higher in property management.
