Salary Range

$46,195 - $63,858

Job Function

The Lead Pest Control Technician is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing pest control operations across OHA properties, including towers, scattered sites, and administrative locations. This position provides operational leadership, staff supervision, and technical expertise to ensure pest control services are performed effectively, safely, and in compliance with OHA policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

The role includes direct service delivery, quality control oversight, staff training, inventory management, and ensuring consistent and timely pest mitigation services for residents and facilities.

Essential Functions Leadership & Supervision
  • Provide leadership, direction, training, and supervision to pest control staff to ensure high-quality performance and regulatory compliance.
  • Establish work priorities, assign duties, and manage staff schedules, including development of monthly service schedules.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and individual supervisory sessions; provide coaching, evaluate performance, and disciplinary actions in accordance with OHA policies.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and accountable work environment, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Pest Control Operations
  • Perform pest control services at OHA developments, including inspection, treatment, re-inspection, and prevention of infestations.
  • Identify infestation sources and determine appropriate treatment methods using chemical and mechanical means.
  • Apply pesticides safely through spraying, dusting, baiting, or trapping methods; ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform scheduled and on-demand service calls, including semi-annual services at scattered site locations.
  • Prepare required resident notices and distribute them within required timelines.
Quality Control & Compliance
  • Ensure work orders are properly generated, assigned, completed, documented, and closed in a timely manner.
