Box Office Manager
The Box Office Manager oversees all ticketing operations for the venue, ensuring efficient, accurate, and customer-friendly service. This role manages ticket sales, staff, reporting, and system operations while maximizing revenue and maintaining a high standard of guest experience. Utilizing ticketing software, he/she will create ticketing for events and financial reports; manage and participate in the development and administration of an annual budget;
direct the forecast of additional funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies; and direct and monitor expenditures. The Box Office Manager is responsible for the selection, training, motivation, and evaluation of all Box Office personnel and the management of all aspects of customer service related to internal and external customers.
This role pays an annual salary of $55,000-$70,000.

Responsibilities include building all events in the ticketing system, overseeing all financial reconciliation, managing all information being sent and posted through the ticketing system, acting as systems administrator for the ticketing system, responsible for system upgrades, preparing all ticketing reports, updating and relaying all box-office-related event information, investigating and resolving ticket-related issues, responsible for the collection of all ticket monies, tracking of accounts payable/receivable, and preparation of sales reports/ticket revenue updates, working with sales and marketing departments to set up various ticket discounts and promotions, overseeing Will Call for all ticketed events, ensuring compliance with all relevant ticket laws, processing/filling approved charity ticket requests, documenting all complimentary tickets issued, tracking attendance for all events, processing donor seat selection and retention, managing all aspects of customer service as it relates to both internal and external customers, managing the creation and control of the fiscal budget for the box office department, developing and implementing comprehensive ticket sales programs, hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising all Box Office Staff, planning, directing, evaluating, and providing leadership to Box Office personnel, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal/external customers, exercising confidentiality and integrity upon handling customer personal/financial information, and completing all duties with a customer service focus through teamwork and dedication to Oak View Group's principles.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business management, sports management, business administration, or other related fields, minimum of 3-5 years of increasingly responsible box office/ticketing experience, preferably with a sports facility, convention center, performing arts facility, or other multi-purpose public assembly facility, knowledge of operational characteristics, services, and activities of stadium, arena, public assembly facility, or convention center sales programs, knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, graphic design, PowerPoint, and Internet software, familiarity with Paciolan ticketing software or other ticketing software preferred, knowledge of terminology used in box office/sales settings, knowledge of principles of budget preparation and control, communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, make basic arithmetic calculations, work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, extended (long) workdays, and extended number of days.
