Job Overview

Clarkson College is seeking an Interprofessional Simulation Administrator to develop and implement simulation programming, coordinate the Interprofessional Simulation Center (ISC) usage, maintain Advanced Simulation certification, and manage day‑to‑day operations of the simulation lab and equipment. The role fosters inclusive interprofessional learning across departments using technologies such as the Multi Taction wall, virtual reality, Anatomage table, and 3D printing.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Interprofessional Simulation programming at Clarkson College.
  • Coordinate the use of the Interprofessional Simulation Center (ISC), collaborating with the College and community constituents.
  • Maintain Advanced Simulation certification and manage day‑to‑day operations of the simulation lab and equipment.
  • Develop and implement simulation activities for students, employees, and external constituents.
  • Create a learning environment that facilitates inclusive interprofessional activities across departments, utilizing all available technologies (e.g., Multi Taction wall, virtual reality, Anatomage table, 3D printing).
  • Collaborate closely with the Center of Teaching and Learning, the Professional Development department, and the Registrar.
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree from an accredited college in education or health‑related fields.
  • Minimum two (2) years of higher education teaching experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years working in a simulation environment or conducting simulation activities.
  • Interprofessional education and collaboration experience.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, oral, and written communication skills; interpersonal skills to work with diverse constituents.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in customer service, project management, and strategic prioritization.
  • Ability to work in a consultative role with a broad range of constituents, including outside vendors, academic departments, interdisciplinary faculty committees, and College staff and leadership.
  • Self‑starter and team‑builder; able to set clear expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of innovative technologies, Excel, Microsoft Office, Survey Monkey, Learning Management Systems, etc.
  • Advanced Simulation certification.
