Position Summary
Directs heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and critical power maintenance and service operations. Evaluates current and future projects, determines equipment needs, enhances efficiency, and ensures proper system functioning. Develops standard operating procedures and preventive maintenance programs. Leads sustainability initiatives, resolves vendor and contractor issues, and oversees business plans and projects. Supervises workforce, manages budgets, and ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Provides leadership, mentorship, and fosters a culture of integrity and continuous improvement.
- Licensed Master Plumber with 5 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, electrical maintenance, engineering, or related field
- OR: 3 years of experience in the above areas with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
- EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire
- Master Electrician License or equivalently licensed in the state of employment
- Experience in building controls or related area
- Leadership experience in cross‑functional teams
- Maintenance supervisory experience in optical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment
- Type I and Type II Environmental Protection Agency refrigerant handling certification
