Position Summary:- The Director leads high-impact programs that strengthen and support families in our community. This role oversees the strategy, development, and day-to-day operations of Family Intervention and Prevention services, including foster care and recruitment, in-home, home study, and kinship navigation. With a focus on empowering families and improving outcomes, the Director ensures programs are effective, collaborative, and aligned with our mission to keep children safe and connected to nurturing environments.
- Provide direction, leadership, and supervision of day-to-day programs and staff, including foster care, in-home, kinship, etc.
- Ensure efficiency and effectiveness in staffing, processes, documentation and organization.
- Monitor programming to ensure services are conducted according to client service standards, strategic objectives, accreditation standards, all applicable regulations, and organizational policies and procedures.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement planning and duties for the program.
- In collaboration with the Grants and Finance team, responsible for managing and completing grant applications and grant reporting requirements for programming.
- Oversee reporting to funders and leadership and ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Ensure continual growth and improvement of programming by identifying trends, both internal and external.
- Participate in independent study to stay current on issues, policies, and procedures related to children’s services, including in-house training(s) and external conferences.
- Serve on community committees and projects to strengthen the agency and community life.
- Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, public community organizations, and referral sources.
- Utilize and cooperate with the agency’s communication and development efforts to achieve program and agency-wide public relations and fundraising goals.
- Provide direct service including client transportation or on-call coverage when necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services related field ;
Master’s degree preferred. - 5 years’ experience in children's services, with a minimum of three years of supervisory experience.
- Licensed or license eligible as a mental health practitioner or a clinical social worker in the State of Nebraska preferred.
