Injection Mold Maintenance Tech – Electrical & Hydraulic

• Maintain and repair injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Maintain and repair molds with Manager direction.
• Maintain facility as directed.
• Performs equipment PM’s and necessary documentation.
• Effectively manage schedule to maximize production.
• Perform tooling changes according to Work Order 7.5_1 and Set up Sheet. Along with cleaning mold.
• Safely operate a forklift.
• Follow good housekeeping practices.
• Follow all safety procedures ie Lock Out Tag Out, etc
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
Must have ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Must be able to diagnose equipment issues in a timely manner and implement correct repair. Must have good math problem solving skills at junior high school algebra 1 level. (Calculators used.) Must have experience in machine repair: mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
Must be a self starter with desire to improve overall company operation.
Must have experience in plastic Injection.
Must have lock out tag out training.
Must have own tools.

Basic skills:
Operation/Understand/Experience with hydraulic systems.
Operation/Understand/Experience with pneumatic systems and compressors.

Electrical system experience, 480, 230V 3ph 220, 120V 1PH, Low voltage Blueprint & Schematic
