Wire Harness Assembler (3rd Shift)
$2,000 Hiring Bonus
Pay Range: $20-25 per hour based on experience
Shift: Monday - Thursday 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM, OT scheduled as needed
Differential: $2 per hour
Overall SummaryUnder direct supervision, assemble small electrical components, wire harnesses, and electrical boxes. Perform tracking and dispatching of shop orders. Fabricate and install electrical systems and build wire harnesses to engineering drawings. Must have basic 12-volt power system and automotive electrical experience. Responsible for various types of electrical preparation and operations to manufacture product to customer drawings and specifications.
Essential Job Functions- Interpretation of electrical drawings
- Test and verify electrical assemblies
- Build and/or modify electrical assemblies in accordance with established specifications to meet specific project requirements
- Responsible for assembling small electrical components such as harness boxes, terminal strip boxes, upper control boxes, outrigger sub-assemblies, harnesses, and any other small component as directed.
- Dispatch unit specific orders which include reading shop orders, pulling shop order materials/parts, and closing shop orders
- Planning and organizing work according to schedule updates.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
- Punctual and regular attendance is required.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Electrical knowledge.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and supervisors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Knowledge of Max system preferred.
- Organizational and planning skills required.
- Use multimeter to measure electrical current and voltages.
- Ability to interpret and read graphic instructions such as blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, or other visual aids.
- Ability to function effectively as a team player.
- Must be self‑motivated.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous electrical and mechanical experience preferred.
- Three years of electrical and hydraulic knowledge, preferably in a job shop environment.

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and 20 lbs frequently throughout the day, depending on work‑related circumstances.
- Must be able to lift objects from floor to above shoulder level. Must be able to move objects/parts/tools and equipment from one area to another and one level to another.

- Seizing, holding, rasping, turning, pulling, or otherwise working with hands and arms.
- Using arms in such a way as pulling of tools, wrenches, parts, and equipment to complete the job.

- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout area.
- Ability to climb up and down trucks, steps, and ladders safely.
