Job Overview

Parts Handler. Responsible for day‑to‑day activities of the Production Yard or Warehouse in accordance with current federal, state/provincial, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility. Must have own tools. Starting pay $20–22/hr working Mon‑Fri 7:00am – 5:00pm.

Job Duties
  • Safely maneuver around the yard or warehouse.
  • Find and retrieve parts.
  • Package parts for delivery or pre‑prep.
  • Process paperwork related to parts.
  • Pull work orders.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to remove parts from cars.
  • Operate a powered industrial truck (forklift) or order picker.
  • Pull and prep sheet metal and other orders.
  • Tag parts properly for destination.
  • Communicate with Sales and Dispatch.
  • Maintain a positive and friendly attitude during work hours.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the work area.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Requirements
  • Working knowledge of automotive parts.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) across all units of measure.
  • Ability to calculate rates, ratios, percentages and interpret graphs.
  • Frequent use of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Basic oral communication and simple record keeping.
  • Ability to explain and offer guidance on routine procedures.
  • Proficiency in prioritizing routine tasks and working under supervisor guidance.
Essential Physical Demands / Work Environment
  • Occasionally stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75pounds; on some occasions up to 100pounds.
  • Exposure to hazardous situations, conditions, equipment, extreme temperatures, and high noise levels.
  • Work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles, requiring awkward positions.
  • Regular use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Periodic travel, including overnight stays, may be required.
