• Hourly Competitive Starting Pay - $22.00/hour
• $0.75/hour shift differential for 3rd shift positions

A Machine Operator contributes to the safe, high‑quality production of meat products by operating meat cutting and packaging machines and supporting coworkers. Reliability, attention to detail, and strong work ethic are essential.

• Operate meat cutting and packaging machinery and other equipment to process products for consumers.
• Maintain a safe and efficient production line.
• Ensure products meet safety, quality, and teamwork standards every day.
• Work scheduled shifts and may be required to work overtime.
• Coordinate with coworkers to support production demands.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:

• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Perform tasks requiring continuous or repetitive movement, including grasping, pinching, flexing, and extending arms.
• Stand on concrete or platforms for an entire shift.
• Work around animal blood, carcass parts, and sanitation/cleaning chemicals.
• Operate a knife (if trained).
• Work in cold (20–40°F) or warm (>100°F) and humid environments.
• Wear hard hats, hearing/eye protection, and steel‑toed safety shoes.
• Work in a noisy environment using PPE.
• Climb or move on ladders, steps, stairways, walkways, and platforms.
• Bend, stoop, and twist repetitively over a shift.
• Walk long distances.
• Move or lift heavy objects, up to 60 lbs, with or without mechanical assistance.
• May require certification to operate equipment.
• May perform other duties as assigned; the above are not exhaustive.

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Willingness and ability to perform all above physical demands.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high‑speed environment.
• Good hand–eye coordination and attention to detail.
