Build your career where ownership pride and performance come standard BOOM ASSEMBLY MECHANIC 3rd SHIFT 2000 HIRING BONUS Pay Range 20 26 based on experience 3rd Shift Schedule Monday Thursday 800PM 600AM OT Scheduled as needed Differential 2hour ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Interpretation of mechanical drawings including weld symbols

Correctly installs inner sections reels accessories and wear pads on each boom Installs hoses winches and cables

Conventional and precision measuring instruments

Process inspection certification and documentation

Builds andor modifies equipment in accordance to established specifications to meet specific project requirements

Safety and Housekeeping Repairs andor modifies existing and new products accordance with established specifications and procedures

Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices

Requires good attendance and punctuality

Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Individual must possess these knowledges skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation using some other combination of skills and abilities Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing

Good math and measurement skills

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

Ability to manage several projects simultaneously

Intermediate computer skills ie Word Excel and Access Ability to resolve conflicts in a courteous and professional manner

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School diploma or equivalent

Previous mechanical experience preferred

This position includes the following physical demands

Extending and pulling the hands and arms in any direction while working with various tools as mentioned before

Seizing holding rasping turning pulling or otherwise working with hands and arms Using arms in such a way as pulling of tools wrenches parts and equipment to complete the job Picking pinching or otherwise working with fingers primarily rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling
