Do you want to be part of the exciting Airline Industry? If so, ASI is looking for a motivated and energetic aircraft component technician. The job is fast paced and physically demanding. Previous aircraft maintenance experience is highly desired but is not required. Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly. Shop hours are 7:00am to 4:00pm and flexible hours are available.
Job Duties- Clean all applicable parts using a solvent and media blast process.
- Inspect and test all applicable parts using calibrated tools to include calipers, micrometers, and spring testers in accordance with all applicable technical data and maintenance manuals.
- Disassemble and reassemble all applicable hydraulic, brake, and wheel components.
- Perform minor repair to heat shields, pistons, and threads.
- Apply protective coatings using dry and chemical lubrication methods.
- Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves and workstations neat; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Complete reports by entering required information into computer.
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

All applicants must possess a High School Diploma as well as be able to read, write, and speak the English language per FAA Part 145 Regulations. Mechanical aptitude is a must as well as a strong sense of attention to detail. All applicants must pass a five panel pre-employment drug screen and alcohol breath test. Employees in this position will be subject to bi-weekly random five panel drug and alcohol breath test as well.
ASI is a drug free workplace with a zero tolerance drug and alcohol policy as we must comply with FAA requirements. All applicants must submit to a background check and pre-employment assessments. Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted. Applicants must be responsible and motivated individuals. Prior Military applicants are always welcome.
