What You'll DoThis position is a full-time permanent position in a manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing of charitable and lottery gaming products, including pull-tab tickets (break-open tickets) and bingo paper.
The Warehouse Shipping and Receiving role is a full-time, permanent position in a fast-paced production environment. This position is responsible for executing a wide range of warehouse and logistics functions, including order picking, inventory verification, shipping and receiving activities, and operating material handling equipment. The role supports overall production goals by ensuring accurate and timely movement of goods and materials across departments.
This individual must demonstrate a strong attention to detail, work effectively with minimal supervision, and have the ability to follow safety procedures and productivity standards. The position requires the operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other industrial equipment, and occasionally assisting with general warehouse or production tasks as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in warehouse operations and logistics with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and safety. They will possess strong organizational skills, experience operating forklifts or similar equipment, and demonstrate a proactive attitude in managing daily responsibilities. A successful candidate will have the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Experience in a production or manufacturing setting is a strong plus.
- Fulfill and verify orders with accuracy:
Pick, scan, and verify product orders against packing lists to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to shipment. - Prepare outbound shipments:
Package and label items in accordance with company and carrier specifications to ensure damage-free and timely delivery. - Operate material handling equipment:
Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, and order pickers; conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs. - Receive and inspect inbound goods:
Unload, unpack, and examine incoming shipments; confirm material counts, quality, and condition, and report discrepancies or damage to Quality Control. - Load and unload freight:
Coordinate the loading and unloading of trucks and LTL carriers, ensuring all items are properly secured and documented. - Inventory control:
Monitor and maintain inventory of raw materials, packaging and shipping supplies; alert supervisors of low stock or replenishment needs. - Support cross-functional operations:
Collaborate with other departments by rotating into general warehouse and production roles as required to support workflow demands. - Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness:
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from safety hazards in accordance with 5S or lean manufacturing principles. - Adhere to safety and compliance standards:
Follow all OSHA and company‑specific safety protocols, participate in regular safety training, and immediately report unsafe conditions or incidents. - Meet quality and productivity targets:
Consistently meet or exceed established benchmarks for speed, accuracy and reliability in daily operations. - Other related duties:
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by warehouse leadership or management to support operational success.
- High school diploma or GED required. Post‑secondary coursework or certifications in logistics, warehousing or supply chain operations are a plus.
- Minimum of 2‑5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics or shipping and receiving in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Prior experience operating forklifts, power pallet jacks and RF scanning tools is strongly preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred; however, candidates may obtain certification while actively employed.
- Valid U.S. driver's license is required.
- Must be comfortable working at elevated heights (up to 16 feet) using warehouse equipment such as order pickers or elevated platforms.
- Basic computer skills (e.g. data entry, inventory systems) and solid math skills for accurate inventory tracking and shipping calculations.
- Demonstrated ability to verify part numbers, quantities and packaging with a high level of accuracy and consistency.
- Capable of troubleshooting minor equipment or logistical issues with minimal supervision.
- Ability to meet daily shipping and receiving deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance with procedures.
- Clear understanding of how warehouse operations support and impact upstream and downstream production workflows.
