Production Supervisor – Packaging & Warehouse Operations Responsibilities- Oversee and execute day‑to‑day operations for the department, ensuring direct reports follow policies and procedures related to employee safety and food/feed safety.
- Partner with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory experts to implement the most effective approach for complying with corporate safety policies.
- Monitor production outcomes, quantity and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications while recommending continuous improvements.
- Participate and lead process‑improvement initiatives including Centerlining, Preventative Maintenance, Pristine, 5S and ELEMEDS (Every Load, Every Mill, Every Day Safely).
- Partner with local plant management to develop and track efficiency standards (scorecard and metrics control, total cost of maintenance, monthly review of compliance audits, etc.).
- Develop planning for future production workforce needs and participate in the selection of employees.
- Take counts, correct discrepancies, and provide corrective actions/investigations to resolve inventory counts outside the variance range in the digital versus physical count.
- Lead workforce engagement, recognition, development and coaching of hourly members.
- Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma/GED equivalent with 4 years of production experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in an industrial environment (milling, agricultural, food production, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated understanding of safety hazards and protocols.
- Understanding of computerized maintenance management systems.
- Knowledge of maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting packaging equipment and conveyance systems.
- Training in LEAN, Six Sigma, or other manufacturing and warehousing optimization processes.
- Reliability‑centered maintenance training around packaging equipment best practices.
- Ability to perform work at a computer and other administrative/managerial tasks.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by operating areas (e.g., safety glasses, protective footwear, hard hat, hearing protection, and, at times, a respirator or harness).
- Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work a machine‑paced continuous process that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with conditions including hot/cold temperatures, indoor and outdoor environments, dusty environment (including wheat/gluten allergens), noisy environment, frequent moving/vibration or other motion of equipment/processes, and elevated places.
- Ability to perform work safely which may require frequent standing, walking, rotating, bending/stooping, twisting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, reaching or lifting at varying heights and levels.
- Ability to frequently climb stairs and/or ladders.
- Occasional lifting, shoveling, or carrying.
- Occasional pushing and/or pulling.
- Working in confined or elevated places.
- Team members must be clean shaven to perform tasks where respiratory protection is required and the use of a respirator (including N‑95 dust mask) requires a proper seal for adequate protection.
- Must be able to read, interpret instruction and technology and communicate effectively in English.
- Must be willing to work alongside your team including long days (days, evenings, and nights) as well as weekends or holiday work.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

The starting range for this position is $74,600.00 - $99,444.40, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience.
