Fabrication Assistant - 1st Shift

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division seeks a Fabrication Assistant - 1st Shift.

Hourly rate: $18.00 per hour. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

• Shake laser cut parts free from sheet metal via shake table
• Deburr parts using appropriate hand tools (grinder, sander, etc.)
• Stage material in the fabrication area to minimize operator time wasted when searching for parts
• Assist machine operators with complex or two‑person bends for our larger parts
• Responsible for initial quality checks on machined parts

Qualifications:

• Position is physically demanding and requires individuals to lift up to 35 pounds regularly. Heavier parts can be moved via team lifts, lifting assist machines, or overhead cranes.
