Job Summary
Leidos is searching for RC‑135 Operations Training Specialists to join a dynamic team at Offutt AFB, NE. The role supports Air Combat Command’s (ACC) innovative Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. Candidates may come from Airborne Analyst, Internal Intelligence Operator, Airborne Mission Supervisor, Datalink Operator, or Electronic Warfare Officer backgrounds, with Tactical Coordinator experience preferred. TS/SCI clearance is required.
ResponsibilitiesProvide academic, simulator, and inflight training to back‑end ISR crews for RC/TC/WC/OC‑135 fleets, in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), manufacturer technical orders, DoD/USAF Higher Headquarters guidance, and applicable syllabi. Training may include non‑ISR aircrew duties such as safety or emergency procedures. Provide data and analysis of training accomplishment, needs, status, and effectiveness via daily and monthly metrics, including Programmed Flying Training (PFT) scheduled versus accomplished and effective versus ineffective performance for Combat Training Squadron (CTS)/FTU leadership.
YourExpertise
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience—or an associate degree with 6+ years of experience. Equivalent experience and certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to maintain all requirements to fly as an instructor onboard the RC‑135 aircraft, including completing all annual training, maintaining a current flight physical, and re‑accomplishing an evaluation every 18 months.
- RC‑135 experience in the last few years.
- CFIC Certification.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph on day 1.
