ASSISTANT PLANT MANAGER OPENING IN OMAHA NE. WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS EXPERIENCE WITH TRAININGS, MAKING IMPROVEMENTS, TRACKING KPIs, AND FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE AS WELL.

DAY SHIFT 7AM-3:30PM

PAYS: $80K-$85K SALARY

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Plant Manager to support daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced processing environment. This role will assist with overseeing production, maintenance, safety, quality, inventory control, and employee development while helping drive operational efficiency and plant performance.

• Assist in leading daily plant operations and supervising production teams.
• Support production scheduling to meet customer demands and delivery requirements.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Coordinate with maintenance, suppliers, and customers as needed.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure FIFO practices are followed.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
• Train, coach, and develop employees while supporting cross‑training initiatives.
• Maintain SOPs, production records, and operational reports.
• Serve as the primary operational leader in the absence of the Plant Manager.

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in production, operations, or plant management.
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
• Experience in food processing, pet food, meat processing, or related manufacturing industries is a plus.
